Aliens & The Great Pyramid - Part 3

Hello Friends,

This week I’m continuing the series of posts about Aliens and The Great Pyramid with number 3. I don't know what to believe but I'm keeping an open mind on the subject.  Let's get started with a strange-ish video that talks about the Great Pyramid being a structure to house a once functioning star-gate transport system that is still there.

The maker of the video says if he is correct in his translation, the gods Osiris, Anubis, Ra and many others came through a portal. The portal was also a way of communicating with Osiris, The maker of the video gives no evidence for his comments. There’s pictures of the tunnels that run beneath the Giza Plateau and lead to the tomb of Osiris, which is empty.

I decided to blog about this video because of these unsubstantiated claims;

“Authorities are hiding a highly advanced device or structure underneath the pyramids of Giza and make span the African continent, criss-crossing the leylines of earth, and the path of the sun. With Egyptian secret teachings being openly accessible and telling of portals that were created with the help of gods illustrated as non-human entities.”

The comments stirred my curiosity because there was a suggested link between Egypt and the bigger area of Africa. Which is a larger, wider, view of Egypt’s archaic monuments and their possible influence from their position in the geographical center of the earth. The idea is worth further investigation.

Leylines and the path of the sun remind me of very ancient sacred sites. I’m in search of knowledge about a global civilization that predates recorded history. The peoples who raised the megalithic standing stones in circles and built pyramids on every continent on earth. They aligned some of their sites with the passage of the sun—and it's position during the solstices and equinoxes.

If I was a science fiction writer, I would still be wondering how the star gate in the video would operate. The immense size of the pyramids of Giza means they concentrate earth energy in their stone blocks. If the energy needed for the portal was electro-magnetic, and the earth is continuously bombarded by the Sun’s electromagnetic energy, which hits earth’s upper atmosphere as solar winds, then somehow the stargate would need to create a tunnel or passage through the 2 electromagnetic fields from the earth and sun. The solar winds flux and wane depending on the built up and release of solar flares from the surface of the sun. It’s an unstable, volatile environment of electromagnetic energy in which to design stargates to leave earth, at least in the physical sense. Luckily, I’m not a science fiction writer trying to figure out how stargate devices work.

Alternatively, teleportation of persons is in the realm of fantasy for now. Alternatively, people’s consciousness has been leaving earth since we learnt how to meditate.

Well that's the end of my ancient Egypt posts for now. You can read my earlier posts about Aliens here;

Have a happy weekend.

Book - "Napoleon's Nightmare & The Great Pyramid." by Ashlyn Brady

Hello Friends,

This week, I’m excited to be blogging about my first non-fiction short book. The inspiration to write it started here at my blogger site. Back in November 2016, I wrote about Napoleon’s Nightmare & The Great Pyramid, and for a time, it was a popular post.

Afterward, I was still curious about Napoleon Bonaparte’s expedition to Egypt. He was an army general and a military genius yet he sponsored the beginnings of Egyptology. I decided to investigate further and the information I found grew more and more interesting.

Napoleon Bonaparte is still a controversial man who divides opinions. I didn’t know the British chased his fleet across the Mediterranean and had trouble finding where he’d landed on the Egyptian coast. The short book expands the history of Napoleon’s invasion of Egypt with the British Navy in pursuit of him. The chase eventually ended with a boom of cannons and devastation.

The Great Pyramid is one of the world’s enigmas. Napoleon Bonaparte spent an evening inside the King’s Chamber of the pyramid and so did two modern men. The stories of their encounters with feminine presences captured my interest. Many studies have been undertaken on the physical characteristics of the Great Pyramid, but I hadn’t thought much about the pyramid’s mystical qualities or the inner, invisible realms. An old stone tablet found near the Sphinx praised Goddess Isis as the mistress of the pyramids which only deepens the mystery.

I decided to put all of the information together and try my hand at writing a short non-fiction book. Thank you to the people who read my original blog post. You encouraged me to try a new writing venture into non-fiction. This is my first short book in the Goddess Mystery series.

Here’s the Book Blurb
One man’s nightmare led to a major turning point in history…

Over the millennia, Egypt’s enigmatic Great Pyramid of Giza has withstood robbers and earthquakes. In 1798, during the troubled times of the revolution, the French Government sent a young, ambitious general on a military expedition to Egypt. Napoleon Bonaparte’s great curiosity would lead him to the archaic Great Pyramid.

After an overnight stay inside the King’s Chamber, Napoleon was pale and shaken. He left us with very little insight into what he’d experienced, but after his failed campaign in Egypt, Napoleon would overthrow the French Government and sponsor the beginning of Egyptology.

In more recent times, two men had mystical experiences with female presences inside the Great Pyramid. Their accounts suggest the Great Pyramid continues to be a place of goddess healing energy, spiritual power, and where transformation of consciousness is possible.

I invite you to turn the page and enjoy the trip to Egypt.

Alien Hieroglyphs in Ancient Egypt

Hello Friends,

This week I’m writing about the alien connection with ancient Egypt. Are there any records of alien visitations in Egypt’s ancient past?  No, maybe… I found a short video which shows some examples of “ET” styled art in Egyptian wall carvings.

The idea that ancient aliens colonized earth and interbred with humans has been investigated by radical thinkers for decades. It’s a controversial area of research, and Erich von Daniken was a pioneering author who shook up conventional thinking about human history when he first published his book, “Chariots of the Gods” in 1968.

Erich proposed that ancient astronauts gave ancient peoples of the world technologies and were welcomed as gods. His ideas were rejected by many scholars. He was accused of plagiarism. Some of his evidence was said to be faulty or pseudo scientific. Forty nine years later, “Chariots of the Gods” is still for sale on Amazon.

Despite what scholars and government say or don’t say, people believe what they want to believe about UFO’s, ET’s—extra-terrestrials and Ancient Aliens. Next up, I’m going to take a closer look at one of the controversial alien spacecraft images that was shown in the video above.

HELICOPTER HIEROGLYPH

Did space gods come down to earth and leave a message on the walls of a temple at Abydos. Let’s armchair travel to Abydos, which is located about 540 km south of Cairo and find out more.

Abydos is a very old city which dates back before the reign of the pharaohs (pre-dynastic Egypt), perhaps to the late prehistoric age. Much of the original site is now buried under modern buildings.

Abydos was a sacred center and place of pilgrimage. It hosts a royal necropolis (tombs) and is also a major cemetery. As time passed, Abydos became an important place to venerate the goddesses and gods.

OSIRIS

Pharaoh Seti 1 makes offerings to the god Osiris seated on the throne. Goddess Isis stands behind Osiris.
Osiris was the god of the after-life—the dead, resurrection and regeneration. The body of Osirius was believed to be buried at Abydos. The ruins of the Osirion, the monolithic blocks of stone and their symbolic, primeval waters of creation can still be seen today.

The helicopter hieroglyph is located in the Temple of Osiris at Abydos which was built by Pharaoh Seti 1 sometime between 1290-1279 BC. The carved images of the Helicopter Hieroglyph are found on a lintel stone which is positioned across the top of two large columns that butt up against the ceiling of the temple. It’s a high-up place.

CARTOUCHE MAGIC

The helicopter hieroglyph is enclosed within a cartouche, and is a segment of a larger pharaonic cartouche that was carved for Seti 1 and his son, the famous Rameses 11 (more about him later).

A cartouche has a frame or a rope which is a magical border used to enclose a name, such as the pharaoh’s name. The magic protected the name inside the border.

SET 1 & RAMESES 11

Akhenaten was a short-lived, heretic king who re-instated the worship of one god – ATEN. The sun god took the place of Egypt’s old religion of many goddess and gods. After the death of Akhenaten, he was erased from Egypt’s history and wasn’t rediscovered until the 19th Century.

The upheaval caused by Akhenaten, was followed by the short reign of Tutankamun, the boy king, and Seti 1 sought to return prosperity to Egypt. He led military campaigns and formed peace treaties in the Middle East. * He opened mines and quarries, dug wells and rebuilt temples. (source: www.britannica.com)

Seti 1 built his own temple to Osirius and for several other goddesses and gods at Abydos. The artwork in his temples is fine and beautiful. Three thousand years later, some of the original colours remain on the walls. However, Seti 1 died before work was completed on his temple buildings.

Seti 1’s son, Rameses 11 the great, completed his father’s temple works. Some people believe Rameses 11 carved his own hieroglyph over Seti 1’s cartouche to form the helicopter hieroglyph.

The message in Seti 1’s cartouche was originally carved to mean, "He who repulses the nine enemies of Egypt." The cartouche was plastered over and Rameses 11 message was cut into surface, "He who protects Egypt and overthrows the foreign countries."

The spacecraft images are a result of an overprinting of shapes. A combination of carvings made by father and son. Here’s some pictures to tell the story.

Over time, the two cartouches weathered and eroded to produce this composited picture effect. Now we know how the appearance of the helicopter hieroglyph and the other high-tech machines were created on the pillar stone. Fact-based evidence belongs to literal thinking—the most basic of thoughts in an earth-bound reality.

Beyond the realm of ordinary thinking, could the overlapping images have a mystical message for the modern viewer? Or should we totally disregard the uncanny coincidence of ancient images that resemble a helicopter, submarine, futuristic airplane, a zeppelin, a glider, and a tank?

Enjoy your weekend,
Ashlyn

Tutankhamun - His Tomb and His Treasures

In January 2017, while I was on holidays in Perth, I was able to attend the exhibition of Tutankhamun—His Tomb and His Treasures. The display began touring the world in 2008, and millions of people in a dozen countries have seen it. The exhibitions re-created the moments in 1922 when Howard Carter, an English archaeologist, discovered the boy-king’s tomb, what the crypt looked like inside, and the recovery of the treasures.

How the tomb looked when Howard Carter opened it. Possessions stored for the afterlife.
It was a rare opportunity for me to catch a glimpse of ancient Egypt in person. All of the artifacts on display were reproductions, highly skilled ones and valuable. The real grave items stayed at home in Egypt, and the body of Tutankhamun rests in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

The exhibition was innovative and allowed the viewer to walk up near some of the artifacts as many of them weren’t locked behind glass panels. Security officers were unobtrusive and discreet. It was a surreal feeling to be surrounded so closely by tomb objects from timeless Egypt. There were also some short documentary movies to watch.

When Howard Carter dug a hole in the doorway, and inserted a candle to have his first look at Tutankhamun’s tomb, he spoke of there being wonderful things inside. The exhibition was full of gold objects.

One of the catalogs from the exhibition.

A lot of care and devotion went into the preparation of Tutankhamun’s body for his soul's voyage to eternity. His mummy was enclosed within multiple coffins and held within multiple shrine boxes. Layers of linen and layers of magical amulets covered his body. His arms were full of bangles. He wore multiple necklaces. The bandages contained resins and fragrant oils and his mummy eventually became stuck to the wrappings. On the top most layers of linen, wreaths and garlands of flowers were placed by his family before he was sealed inside the sarcophagus.

The top most sarcophagus of Tutankhamun decorated with flowers.

The Golden Shrine box that housed the Sarcophagus. Decorated with double symbols of male and female needed for the soul's passage to the afterlife. The male symbol is the tower or column of the god Osirius (Djed). The female symbol is the knot of the womb for goddess Isis (Teet).
Raising the golden sacrophagus out of the shrine. The wings of goddess Isis wrap the corners of the box in protection.
Tutankhamun was the boy king from the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom. He was crowned pharaoh at 8 years of age and died at 19, some 3,300 years ago. He is famous for his tomb treasures rather than for his reign. If I remember correctly, his name was deliberately erased from Egypt’s history. His father was the radical pharaoh, Akhenaten. His mother was Nefertiti or an unknown royal wife. Akhenaten was also removed from the record because of the unpopular religious upheaval he created.

Tutankhamun's tomb was broken into twice after his burial by grave robbers and was later re-sealed. Osirius was the ancient Egyptian god of the afterlife. Deceased pharaohs took on his name for the next journey of their soul, like this, Osirius-Tutankhamun.

His Children

Tutankhamun was married to his sister, Ankhesenamun. It’s believed he fathered 2 children who didn’t survive their births. Coffin cases were found for a 5 month old fetus and a still born baby.

Opening of the Mouth

As part of the rituals, the mummy’s mouth was opened to open the senses (breathing, taste, hearing etc) to the afterlife.

Rebirth of the Mummy

The mummy was laid out on a golden couch decorated with lion’s heads for the rebirthing rituals. Sekhmet, the lion-headed goddess is the daughter of the sun god Ra. Ra travelled on his solar boat through the underworld, and pharaohs were regarded as the sons of Ra.

Small statues of goddesses and gods. They were anointed with fragrant oils, and wrapped in linen covers.

The Ba Amulet

Tutankhamun had a large piece of jewelry, an amulet placed over the middle of his chest so his Ba, the part of him that lived on after death, his soul, could return to his body at night. Mummification was a process to slow the physical decay of the body, but it was believed the soul could still return to inhabit the body, enliven it, and enjoy the worldly possessions placed in the tomb.

Winged Ba jewelry placed on Tutankhamun's chest, symbolizing the flight of the spirit and its return to the physical body.

The contents of the tomb being carried to the Nile River for transport to Cairo.

Thanks for reading, and have a good weekend.

Back to Ancient Egypt

“Egypt is full of dreams, mysteries and memories.”
—Janet Erskine Stuart, (Catholic Nun and Educator)

“Egypt is the mother of the world and will be as great as the world.”
–Abdel el-Sisi (President of Egypt)

Hello Friends,

This month I've been inspired to write some more posts about ancient Egypt. In November 2016, I wrote articles about Napoleons nightmare inside the Great Pyramid and Aliens and the Great Pyramid Part 1 and Part 2

The mysteries of Egypt continue to fascinate me. After I wrote about Napoleon Bonaparte’s nightmare and the tiny snippet of information he gave about people not believing the experience he’d had inside the Great Pyramid, I wondered why the temples and pyramids of Egypt continue to draw people to them. There’s something about ancient Egypt acting as a focus point for humanity. Interest crosses cultures and borders, like it did in the distant past when Egypt was a center of learning about worldly and other worldly things.

Napoleon’s expedition to Egypt led to the birth of Egyptology in Europe. Researchers of our time, (there are many note-worthy ones, but to name a few) like best-selling authors, Robert Bauval, John Anthony West, Graham Hancock, and Dr Carmel Boulter, Director, Producer and Writer of “The Pyramid Code” documentary, are helping to expand the study of ancient Egyptians in different directions to the classical studies that started in the years following Napoleon’s nightmare.

Megalithic and pyramid sites built across the earth hint at a history of old, old, human civilization that has been lost over the ages. Clues from ancient Egypt about archaic knowledge and wisdom, are being used by unorthodox researchers to try and piece together the puzzle of a pre-history and high culture of forgotten peoples. The exploration of ideas might also shed some light on Alien visitations and the connections between ancient Egypt and the star constellations of Leo, the Orion Belt and the Pleiades.

I hope you can join me again for some more posts about speculative ideas and Egyptian history.
