A strange occurrence,
an emu chasing a boxer dog around a tree.
Emu’s are large, land-based, Australian birds
with little wings that can’t fly.
But they can run…very fast…at 25mph with a top
speed of about 30mph to get away from a dangerous situation. They commonly run
across the sand plains and along bush tracks in the outback.
I’ve also watched a youtube video of an emu
running down a highway in Israel. Shrug?
Here's the chasey video from
youtuber, FarmerWhiteGirl with the her playful dog
called Daisy and an emu. Brings a smile when the emu decides to reverse the running
direction.
